WHO WE ARE

Maui Lodging Properties LLC is a fully licensed and state-bonded Real Estate Property Management Company specializing in the management and sales of West Maui properties. With a team of approximately 15 experienced professionals, we are committed to delivering personal, prompt, and professional service to property owners and AOAO Boards alike.

Our staff is well-versed in all aspects of property management, vacation rentals, and association administration. We pride ourselves on building long-term relationships and maintaining a high standard of care across every property we manage.

LEADERSHIP AND TEAM

~ Darlene (Whipple) Ford, Principal
A former CPA, Darlene moved to Maui in 1979 and became a licensed Real Estate Broker in 1985. She founded Nai’a Properties Inc., managing 19 associations before launching Maui Lodging Properties LLC in 2010. Though now residing full-time in Gresham, Oregon, Darlene remains actively involved in daily operations.

~ Lonelle Newman (RB), Broker-in-Charge & Partner
Lonelle joined the business in 2000 under her mother Darlene’s guidance. Starting in housekeeping, she worked her way up to become Broker-in-Charge. She currently manages a few condominiums still and stays current on all local policies and regulations.

~ Bree Lewis, Partner & Client Services Lead
As Darlene’s granddaughter and Lonelle’s daughter, Bree represents the third generation in the business. She joined in 2012 and now serves as the primary contact for new clients, bringing deep knowledge of vacation rental operations, owner relations, and digital platforms.

~ Herb Aust (RS), Partner & Operations Manager
Herb joined Maui Lodging in 2013 and manages day-to-day operations for AOAO property management and vacation rentals. He holds a Business Management degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is responsible for maintenance coordination and guest services.

~ Toddy Lilikoi, Office Manager
With decades of experience, Toddy has been with Maui Lodging since its inception and is the go-to contact for association clerical needs and administrative support.

~ Monica Aarhus, Accounting Specialist Lead
Monica brings extensive experience in the hotel and condominium industry dating back to 1983. She has worked with associations since 2010 and joined Maui Lodging in 2016.
